On Sadness – An Invitation

Do you know that feeling? The sadness that creeps in when you finally stop. When you pause for a moment – away from all the endless to-dos, business obligations, and other people’s expectations – and realize: wait a second, there’s something else.

Something you’ve been ignoring.

But why sadness? You’ve achieved so much, done so much, crossed so much off the list.

Wasn’t this the deal? Work hard, stay busy, and then – then you’re “successful.” You’ve got money, status, recognition – all the shiny things that are supposed to make you happy.

And yet, here it is. Sadness.

An invitation to feel it. To sit with it. To make space. To pause.

What is it trying to tell me?
