Are you actually happy and fulfilled?
And no, this isn’t some fluffy self-help question.
I mean it. And you don’t have to tell anyone – just ask yourself.
Maybe while grabbing your morning coffee. Or on the walk to your car (if you’re not on a call saving the world).
By all measurable standards, we should be incredibly happy.
Austria – and much of the Western world – ranks among the wealthiest per capita.
We live in democratic societies, with freedoms most of history never knew.
We can do as we please – within the law. Or break it, if we accept the consequences.
By this logic, we should all be ecstatic, right?
That’s what we’re told: Achieve this. Own that. Then you’ll be happy.
And if that’s true, then those who lack these things must be miserable.
But is that really how it works?
I don’t think so.
So let’s go back to the beginning.
Take a moment. Think of a time when you felt truly content.
Maybe it was a quick chat at the coffee machine.
Maybe a warm smile from the bakery cashier.
What was it?
And what does that tell you about what truly matters in your life?
Surprise yourself.
Redefine success.
